Jesus said that He wants us to have life, and to have it more abundantly. He also said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” And, “I am the way, the truth and the life.”
So, if you want more “life” in your life, then it makes perfect sense to turn to the One who IS life.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)
Our job as Christians is to trust Him, the life-giver. And as you trust Him, you will grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. And that makes for a glorious, abundant life!!!
As you grow to know Him and His love for you, and perhaps more importantly, His acceptance of you, you will begin to understand what Jesus meant when He said: “I came so that they might have life.”
“In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.” (John 1:4)
There is no real life apart from the Lord. Everything else is just a false substitute for life.
John 5:26 also talks about this “real life.”
“For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself.”
Life begins by responding to Him in faith, and by believing in what He has already done for you: Jesus Christ died, was buried and then He rose again. When you believe in the gospel you receive spiritual life. The life that you receive is Him, His Spirit.
Real life begins there… and it never ends. Believers have been given an eternal life. As we walk in the Spirit, we are trusting Him. We trust Him today, tomorrow and we will trust Him for all of eternity.
Let’s continue trusting Him every day and in every circumstance.
And hey, Happy Easter.

You’re so encouraging, Lee!! Thank you. After I post a blog, I typically think, “aww, that sucked.” Lol. But yet I can’t keep silent; the gospel is too compelling! . . . Hey, I hope you and your family are doing all right during these difficult times. It sure is a mad world out there, huh?

👍 I know exactly what you mean sister about writing posts. (Which is why I’m constantly editing my already-written posts). So you ain’t alone there miss Lisa.
My wife may have the coronavirus, we’re supposed to get her test results today. But we’re not worried, because we rest in the finished work of Christ!!!
Yea Jesus 😀😀😀
I hope that y’all are doing well.
Oh by the way, I enjoyed your salvation testimony video on YouTube, and I left you a comment.
Keep proclaiming His marvelous grace sister! 😇

Oh my, I hate to hear that your wife may have the coronavirus, but I understand also how trusting in the Lord takes away worries and cares. So, good for you guys for not being worried! 😃 My 3 adult kids are all doing well; enjoying the extra free time, actually. 😆 My husband is ‘stuck’ in CA at his Mom’s place, but he’s doing just fine too. And yes! Thank you! I saw your comment and also replied. 😄 And same to you: keep proclaiming His marvelous grace! ☀️

God bless you and your whole family miss Lisa.
You know,
I believe that when this quarantine is over, and society looks back and considers the net effects of this, I believe that one of the outcomes will be the blessings of families spending time with one another, (that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise).
I know that I’m having a great time with our little girl Lacey during quarantine, that I wouldn’t have if I were at work, and her in school.
And I’ll post an update about my wife Melissa’s health as soon as we get her test results back. 🙂
