About me

What I really want you to know about me is this:

  • I want to testify that the Lord has no problem revealing Himself to anyone, anywhere and at any time.
  • I want to testify that the gospel is this: that Jesus Christ died, was buried and that He rose again on the third day.
  • I want to testify that you must repent of your unbelief, turn to the Lord and believe in the gospel for your salvation.
  • I want to testify that once you are a saved, born-again believer in Christ, you are a forgiven person.  All of your sins – past, present and future – are forgiven.
  • I want you to know that because you are a forgiven person, there is no “work” that you need to do for God.  Jesus Christ has already done all of the work that was required by God the Father; just as He said, “It is finished.”
  • I want to encourage you to offer your body as a living sacrifice and surrender to the New Covenant which allows you to enjoy every day walking in Him, rejoicing in Him and growing to know Him better.
  • I want to proclaim His love and His life, and the opportunity to grow to know Him.
  • I want you to know the joy of having Him meet all of your needs – to feel content and satisfied with your current circumstances.
  •  I want you to live in freedom: total freedom and liberty in Christ strolling among the still waters and the green pastures of the Promised Land of Rest. I want to help set the captives free. I was set free myself, so I know the way.
  •  If you want personal details about me, I published my story  — I think of it as a mini memoir — in seven parts.  Here is the link to #1 if you’re interested in getting started.

    Greetings,
I came upon your informative site, and noticed you have referenced Aaron Budjen. I have seen his name on other blogs, and I noticed he is referred to as Dr. Aaron Budjen. Interesting, I can’t find any bio of him having received a Doctorate or a PH.D. Perhaps you may know? Also as a Christian who up-holds the cardinal teachings of the Christian faith,… The Trinity, I was shocked to hear some of the statements that Aaron was referencing on his teaching on the Trinity. I have never heard anything by any other Evangelical Bible teacher concerning the Trinity, as Aaron states. After listening to his tapes on the trinity, I sent an email to him with the quotes from his teaching, for clarification. I have never heard a word from Aaron Budjen. I truly find this very problematic. I have other concerns as well.

Hi James, thank you for reaching out. I appreciate your candor and sincerity, and am really glad to meet you.

In one of his audio programs, Aaron states that he has a PhD ABD (all but dissertation). I met him and his wife 11 years ago when he was a PhD student and an adjunct professor, but he went into full-time ministry before completing his doctorate. He never refers to himself as a Dr., nor does anyone else who knows him.

For me personally, his teaching on the Trinity has allowed me to know my God better, since the LORD our God is one Lord. Aaron says in his messages on the Trinity that he would agree with the doctrine from the perspective of man looking at God: yes, certainly, God manifests Himself as Father, Son and Spirit. But Aaron also says that from God’s perspective, the Lord is One, as there is only one throne in heaven.

Again, I’ll say that the teaching of Aaron Budjen has allowed me to grow in grace and in the knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ. I am no longer confused about most things. I walk in peace and rest, trusting my God and having deep fellowship with Him on a daily basis. Please do give Aaron your patience and allow the Holy Spirit to confirm or deny the unique perspectives that Aaron teaches. About the email, I’ve heard Aaron say that he gets around a 1,000 emails each week. He has no staff, no secretary, so perhaps you may hear back from him in time (it usually takes a while).
